Early Childhood Teacher - South Hurstville Kindergarten

  • Salary range: $82,719 - $95,842 (pro rata)
  • 55 hours per fortnight - 5.5 hours, 5 days per week

We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic and busy South Hurstville Kindergarten Team. The successful candidate will be expected to be an active, engaged, leader as part of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to the community.

Key Skills

  • Demonstrated experience working with groups of children aged 0-5 years in a early childhood setting (or similar)
  • Sound oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Understanding of Work Health and Safety Requirements.
  • The ability to develop, document and implement an educational program for children.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all current legislation governing early childhood education and care, including the National Quality Framework

Essential Criteria

  • Nesa accredited
  • CHCPT001, Child Protection Training
  • Current First Aid Certificate - Provide an emergency response in an education and care setting (or willing to obtain prior to March 2020)
  • Current CPR certificate - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (or willing to obtain prior to March 2020)
